Universal McCann has revised downward its projection for 2005 advertising spending from 6.1% to 4.8%. For next year, worldwide spending will rise 6% to $604 billion.
With a 5% Sales Tax on Advertising (STONA) $30.2 BILLION of that money would be TRANSFERRED to the states, and the ONLY cost would be 5% Less Advertising.
